Hi Gals -
Are you going to list the menu for each meal and families can sign up to bring some and/or all the ingredients for the meal? Also you may want to consider categories like: Paper Products: i.e. plates, napkins, cups, utensils and paper towels - Cleaning Supplies: i.e. dish soap, hand soap, dish towels, drying towels and table top cleaner/disinfectant - Main Staples: i.e. salt, pepper, seasoning salt, butter, mayo, ketchup, mustard and beverages - Snack Foods: i.e. fruits, vegetables, crackers and nuts. You may want to remind everyone to bring coolers to help store items for there is no refrigerator on site. Just a few ideas. Thanks for all you do! Sheila & Bill

Obviously we will not be travelling from NOLA w/ stuff but are more than willing to bring needed supplies once we arrive.
I would really like to bake red velvet & german chocolate cake squares or cupcakes. I think my mom & Chrissy were talking about doing red beans & muffalettas.
I hope this is the kind of info you were looking for . . . can discuss more when we arrive WA.

We'd appreciate if anybody can bring crock pots for us to use, since we can't haul those on the plan! Thanks!

Alan and Becky have two 5 quart dutch ovens if you'd like us to bring them, we also have a cast iron frying pan you could cook a gallon of scrambled eggs in at one time, 2 Bar-B-Ques, lots of fire wood, and a shovel, we also have 2 stand alone burners like you'd use to deep fry a turkey, and camp stoves, not to mention the deep fry pot for it(or crab pot depending on what you're using it for). Would any of these be helpful? Would you like us to bring nay of them? Do we need a pop up or RV shelter for shade or do you all think there are enough trees? Let us know.

Becky,
The stand alone pot with burner sounds like what we use for boiling seafood. Does it use a propane tank? It sounds perfect for boiling the potatoes & corn. It would probably also work well to cook the red beans. I could use a 30(ish) qt pot to cook all the beans at once.If that's what you have, I would certainly appreciate the use of whatever you can supply!!
Thanks
Judy
